National & International Rankings

Seven Track North Athletes in the National & International Top-Ten

Athletics Canada's rankings for 2005 have been finalized and seven members of Sudbury's Track North Athletic Club were among the top-ten athletes in national and international rankings. Led by Lisa Labrecque's 8th place world ranking in the indoor mile, the rankings, organized by age group, are as follows:

Madeleine Woods - 6th - 1:35.62

Women's 1000m
Madeleine Woods - 8th - 2:58.70

Women's 4 X 800m
Tammy Dufresne (North Bay) ran on Windsor's silver medal winning team!

Women's 4 X 400m
Madeleine ran on Windsor's team that finished 4th - Madeleine's split was 56.9 (2 hours after her 600m final)

Both Madeleine and Tammy are also National Champions as the University of Windsor won the overall women's title.
