Rebecca and Devon in Europe

Two TNOR alumni are now competing in Europe - in two different sports.

Devon Kershaw
Devon Kershaw is about to begin his European season in nordic skiing. Devon has a new website that will keep you informed about his progress:
http://devonkershaw.com

Rebecca Johnston
Rebecca Johnston is now in Sweden playing for the senior national team in the Four Nations Cup. At 18, Rebecca is the youngest member of the team. They play their first game tonight, against Finland.

Rebecca is taking time away from her Cornell team to play for the national team. By the way, some of you will remember that Rebecca had to withdraw from OFSAA track last spring because of back pain. The discomfort lasted all summer, and in September, she found out what the problem was - a small vertebrae fracture in her back!!

At any rate, she appears to have recovered and is now in Sweden!!
You can see an article on Rebecca in yesterday's Sudbury Star.
