World University Cross-Country Running Championships
Leila Angrand placed 45th at the FISU XC's, helping the Canadian team to a 9th place finish. Her time over the 6280m course was 25:05.
Canada placed ahead of France, South Africa, Algeria and China.

Bulldog Invitational
Track North's Eric Ouellette running for Lake Superior State ran a nice outdoor season opening 4 X 400m split of 49.60 this past week helping his team to a first place finish at the Bulldog Invitational.

Two Track North alumni are involved in World Championships this week.

WORLD CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIPS

WORLD WOMEN'S HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Rebecca Johnston is playing for the senior national women's hockey team at the World Championships in Harbin, China.

You can keep track of Rebecca, including live game stats at the following website (they beat Sweden 6-1 in an exhibition game last night and play their first tournament game against Russia today).
